Mélody Johner, Swiss athlete in Eventing currently part of the Swiss Elite Team up
Perennial is proud and happy to support Melody.
Mélody Johner took part in an eventing competition for the first time in April 2013 with her faithful horse Frimeur du Record CH. In 2017, she won her first selection for a major championship at the European Championships in Strzegom, Poland.
In 2020, Toubleu de Rueire joined the Lausanne-based rider's stables, and the chemistry was immediate. Barely 1 year later, it was with this new partner that Mélody was selected to represent Switzerland at the Tokyo Olympics. They ended the adventure with a 17th individual places and being the best Swiss pair.
Mélody has become one of the pillars of the Swiss eventing team, taking part in the World Championships in Pratoni in 2022 (7e per team and ticket for the Paris Olympics secured) and the European Championships at the Haras du Pin in 2023 (5e team), as well as at the legendary Aachen competition in 2023. She was a member of the Swiss team that won various nations' cups, including those in Pratoni and Avenches.
In 2024, Mélody and Toubleu honoured another Olympic selection by being part of the Swiss team that won the 5th place at the Paris Olympics.
